Out Of Character Rules!
1. First and foremost, have fun. Role playing is a hobby and an interest, and we're all part of The Walking Dead fandom, and from that is what builds our community.
2. Respect. Everyone deserves it. Please don't be disrespectful, even if you don't agree with someone, they have a right to not be treated bad for who they are or their opinion. With that being said, there should be no fighting in the cbox or on the boards. If you have a problem with someone, please take it elsewhere from the site or in PM.
3. PG13 content only!!
4. You must have separate accounts for each of your characters. The name on your account must be that of the character you're playing, and proper capitalization in the name is a must! Any images you have on the account, such as avatars or banners, must be that of your character and must be a real picture, not fan art or anime. We want everyone to at least have an avatar image on their account for their character too. Your account is one huge portfolio for your character!
5. In addition to having separate accounts for your characters, each one of your accounts must contain your 'alias' name to keep things organized. When you edit your profile there will be a text field in which you have the option of entering your alias name.
6. You may only advertise your site in the advertising board. No where else. No exceptions.
7. There will be activity checks every month. Accounts that have been inactive for over a month will be deleted.
In Character Rules!
1. Please use the application form that is given, and nothing else. Applications must be completed in 7 days after reserving your face claim, and canon character applications must be completed 3 days after being reserved.
2. There is no limit on how many characters you have, I only ask that you use your characters actively.
3. If you have a canon character, you must post as them a couple times a week. Canon characters are vitally important to the plot and if they aren't used actively could be taken back to be used by someone else. It's understandable that life happens, but canon characters come with a responsibility, and it's not hard to log in quickly during the week to post. If you are expecting to be absent for a long period of time, however; please message staff to let them know.
4. There is no word count, but please refrain from posting one liners. We expect at least a decently sized paragraph in order to give your role playing buddy something to respond to. If you post one liners, you will be asked to write more, especially if you're playing a canon character.
5. No power playing someone's character. Only their author can decide their actions. With that being said, you cannot kill another person's character without their permission. The death of a canon character must be approved by staff.
6. If you create an original character that has any sort of relation to a canon character then you must obtain permission from the owner of the canon to add that information in your application. Also, canon characters cannot have twins, etc.
7. Please try to use the best spelling and grammar that you can. Obviously, such mistakes are unavoidable, but please try to always proof read your work and use spell check. Any errors that are consistent will be brought to your attention.
