Merle Dixon So I'm sure you all know Merle. He's pretty hard to ignore or forget. But in case you don't, Merle is a violent, self centered, dirt bag that likes to cause trouble. He makes fun of everyone and definitely wouldn't be the most easy going or nicest person. But lately Merle has been looking to ammends and seek forgiveness Now reunited with his brother he is just set on following him, and being with the group, again. Wether they like it or not. So if you need some muscle in a thread, or some one to cause some conflict, Merle is your guy. He may have died on the show, but he's back now. He doesn't harbour and resent to anyone, and is even able to see past Rick leaving up on the roof. I'm willing to do any plot you can think of. Seeking any interaction with Merle, be it good or bad. I'm sure a lot of you are looking to chew him out. Friends: Merle doesn't have many friends, but he's always willing to make some. As long as you can get along with him, and don't piss him off it should be fine. Out of the group Daryl is obviously who he's closest with due to the blood ties. Enemies: Merle's list of enemies is probably the longest. At one point he's probably screwed over or pissed off the entire lot of them all. Having best Glen and tricked Michonne the two probably don't like him. Merle also has a slight disliking for Rick for leaving him trapped on that roof. Lovers: As of now Merle has none, but if you think something would work,mor a simple fling I'd be game. He won't be afraid to tell you you're good looking or to hit on you. He's shameless, so ladies beware. all in all looking for any kind of thread or way to add to the plot  |

Lol that would be so hilarious ever seeing Merle having a love interest. But anyways...
Daryl & Merle
I'm trying to think of what we could do with these two brothers. I've been dying to see their interactions in game together. Maybe we could do a run together and see what happens, or perhaps we could just sit down and have a conversation about everything and reflect? Unless you have something else in mind. If not I can just start us a thread and see what happens lol.

Hey Butch,
Welcome to the game. I'm so excited about Merle being in the game. He's a very complex and nuanced character. I'm looking forward to your posts.
I play two characters here. Beth Greene and Everly Bishop.
Beth and Merle
Beth has some issues with Merle because of what he did to Maggie and Glenn but she also knows that it's part of the past and they need to move on so the group can remain strong. Beth also knows that Merle's important to Daryl and Daryl is important to her so she'd probably more welcoming to Merle than some of the others. She won't take his crap but she might just roll her eyes at him a lot.
Eve and Merle
Eve's first encounter with Rick and Sasha wasn't very good lol but she's working things out with Rick now. She's quiet and on the shy side in first meetings. She was in an abusive relationship for a long time and she's now on her own so she can be fearful around new people. I'm not sure how she would take Merle. His bluntness and crude behavior might be off putting but she wouldn't be rude to him. He would scare her off though lol.

I'm open to anything. They could go out to look for supplies or vehicles? Or just do some work around the house..I'm not sure what lol hmm, maybe prepare supplies in case the group needs to leave in a hurry or even fix a gateway vehicle of some kind?
I think Maggie's player is on LOA right now but if we do a thread that takes place at the house we can leave it open for Glenn (if Nora wants it).

Merle/Rick- They should definitely be lovers. The chemistry between them is damn near tangible. Their interactions on the show were so heart felt I can just see them growing closer in the game. XD What do you think?
Merle/Glenn- These two need to be great friends. Like, roasting marshmallows and crap by the fire on a dark and stormy night kinda friends. Glenn admires Merle and has the utmost respect for the man. We need to get these two together in a thread and see what happens!
(do not take the above seriously. >_< I kid. -sigh-)
Abraham/Rick/Glenn- We need some strong, masculine filled threads in this game. I say we have all of the guys in the group go out and get this 'moving to town' plan started. I've never played with an Abraham so I'm game with whatever.

There's some beef there both probably need to get off their chest. Maybe then they can become friends and roast mashmellow  Abraham/Rick/Glenn are all good too. Any part I can throw Abrham in to further the plot is good for me. Maybe once Rick and Daryl get back (assuming those Walkers don't trap them) Abrham can help the group move, in full masculine filled action. rick/Merle, not sure how this would work, but I'd love some group interaction with everyone, planning the action or whatever. |
