Personality
Once upon a time, in a land far away from the skeptical eyes of the scientists, Michonne was someone truly lovable. She was well read by others around her. Her expressions gave away what her mouth couldn't say out loud. When she was worried, her face would show it if on the phone, then her voice would give it away. She was pure, didn't really know the meaning of being secretive until later. She was very smart and still is to this point. She was cultured and alternative. After the apocalypse spread through the surroundings and her lover as well as her child died, her heart grew cold.
You reap what you sow.
But Michonne couldn't find the reason behind that, nothing made her deserve the heartbreak of losing her son, the only person that grounded her humanity to the floor. As the apocalypse drew away every person of her life and everyone around her, Michonne became attached to the world for its cruelty. She found a specialty in working alone, it was easier to avoid loss altogether. People around her grew wary of their own safety and so did Michonne. She realized that the good people died when the Apocalypse started. It reaped all the good souls so they wouldn't live through the hell that is called the world. Given the situation and aura around her, Michonne suffered from hallucinations, talking to her dead boyfriend when the losses became all too hard for her to keep in a steel grip, her mind slipped. After Andrew, she grew aversion to babies as they alone remind her of what she had lost. Upon coming into contact with Andrea, she came out of her personal bubble while still being secretive even toward her.
When she came across Rick's group, she was a hard shell to crack, very quiet and unaffected by Rick's threats. Later on with patience from the group, she came out of it and opened to the ground. Specifically Carl and Rick. And whatever aversion she held to babies disappeared upon holding Judith in her arms, she made a vow within herself to make sure Judith is safe, not wanting the same that had happened to her son happen to the little girl because she saw that the girl held the same anchor attached to Rick's feed, she was grounding him from losing himself. She's brave, ready to take a step that no one would be able to take, her spirit is made of steel, not anything can break her spirit, she survived the death of her lover and son, that almost made her sound soulless, but in fact, she was strong - stronger than anyone would ever think. She's fiercely loyal to the ground and vengeful to those who had harmed her or the ones close to her. She's like a snake to strangers, she's not afraid of standing up to them and not easily thrown into submission, let alone admitting that she was wrong.
